Abstract: A MULTI-MODAL AND MULTI-LINGUAL PLATFORM FOR SECURE AND ACCESSIBLE DIGITAL PAYMENTS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES The present invention relates to a multi-modal and multi-lingual platform for secure and accessible digital payments in rural communities. The platform comprises a user onboarding and authentication module, a voice-assisted multi-lingual interface, a UPI and QR code transaction module, a direct benefit transfer module, a financial literacy and micro-services hub, a central control and analytics dashboard, and an offline transaction synchronization module. The system utilizes biometric authentication and Aadhaar-linked identification to establish secure digital identities and supports digital payments, government benefit transfers, and access to financial services. A key feature of the platform is its ability to perform and store transactions in offline environments using alternative communication technologies and synchronize transaction data when connectivity is restored. The platform enhances financial inclusion, improves transaction security and transparency, and enables reliable digital financial services for underserved rural populations.
