Abstract: A method of assembling a Multi-Layered Ballistic Protection Panel (100) comprises arranging a plurality of layers of Kevlar fabric to form a Front Kevlar Section (101) at a front of the panel, positioning a First Metallic Layer (Brass) (103) having a first hardness value adjacent to and behind the Front Kevlar Section (101), arranging a plurality of layers of Kevlar fabric behind the First Metallic Layer (Brass) (103) to form an Intermediate Kevlar Section (105), positioning a Second Metallic Layer (Copper) (107) having a second hardness value lower than the first hardness value adjacent to and behind the Intermediate Kevlar Section (105), arranging a plurality of layers of Kevlar fabric behind the Second Metallic Layer (Copper) (107) to form a Rear Kevlar Section (109), maintaining air gaps between the sections, applying a bonding adhesive along peripheral edges only, and holding a projectile within the panel thereby preventing complete perforation.
