Abstract: The present disclosure provides a modular vacuum gripping system 100 comprising a plurality of modular members 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170 housing an internal fluid distribution system. The plurality of modular members includes a first member 110 configured to interface with an automated handling apparatus and receive control signals therefrom, and a plurality of second modular members 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170 adapted to mechanically couple to the first member 110 or to one another. At least one of the second modular members 120, 130, 150, 160 is configured to be fluidly coupled to the first member 110 or to another second modular member 120, 130, 150, 160via the internal fluid distribution system to perform end-of-arm gripping operations.
