Abstract: A MODULAR STENT WITH PROGRESSIVE EXPANSION CAPABILITY This invention relates to a modular stent (1) with progressive expansion capability. The stent (101) is comprising a sinusoidal framework (10) made of a plurality of sinusoidal arrays (100) arranged in parallel and are extending along a longitudinal axis of the modular stent (1) and connected by a plurality of first connectors (200) and a plurality of second connectors (300). Here, each of the sinusoidal arrays (100) is formed by a plurality of sinusoidal struts (101) arranged consecutively, such that forms a repeating pattern of peaks (101a) and valleys (101b). Both the plurality of first connectors (200) and the plurality of second connectors (300) are integrated horizontally into the sinusoidal framework via a peak-to-valley connection to connect consecutive sinusoidal arrays (100). Modular stent (1) is configured to aid the long-term scaffold in patients having varying anatomy.
