Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a modular sensor-agnostic water quality monitoring and analysis platform employing dynamic strategy-based algorithm selection for adaptive water quality assessment. The platform comprises a Sensor Interface Layer for acquiring heterogeneous water quality sensor data, a Data Preprocessing Module for filtering and normalizing the acquired data, an Algorithm Strategy Selector configured to dynamically select analytical algorithms during runtime, a Water Analysis Algorithms Library containing interchangeable chemical, physical, biological and AI/ML-based analytical models, and a Result Aggregation and Interpretation Engine for generating contamination risk scores and water quality indices. The system further includes data storage, export and communication modules supporting MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, Modbus and OPC-UA protocols. The invention enables uninterrupted runtime switching between analytical methods according to environmental conditions, sensor availability, turbidity levels and regulatory requirements, thereby improving monitoring accuracy, adaptability, scalability and real-time compliance assessment.
