Abstract: ABSTRACT A Modular Motor Control System With Plug-in Interfaces The present invention provides an improvement in or modification of a motor control system for agricultural water pumps. The invention addresses the problem of complex, specialized hard-wiring between the main controller and its subsystems. The improvement comprises a modular architecture wherein the main microcontroller unit is provided with a plurality of dedicated multi-pin ports. Allied subsystems, such as the motor starter/contactor unit (C1), are configured as self-contained, replaceable plug-in modules. A standardized multi-pin connector assembly interconnects the microcontroller and the subsystems, replacing discrete wiring. This plug-and-play interface simplifies installation and maintenance, enhances user-friendliness, and makes the system easily serviceable by enabling the quick replacement of modules, thereby increasing operational reliability.
