Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a modular kitchen-connected indoor stationary solar cooking device (102). The solar cooking device (102) includes a housing (202), a thermal battery (204), a first heater (206), and a heat control assembly (210). The first heater (206) is coupled to a solar array and adapted to receive solar energy for charging the thermal battery (204). The heat control assembly (210) includes a dowel pin (128) connected to the cooktop (802) and adapted to control the motion of the cooktop (802) of the thermal battery (204) towards the heat control assembly (210), and an actuator (122) having a cylindrical member (126) at one end and a knob (124) at the other end thereof, wherein the actuator (122) is adapted to prohibit the unwanted reverse motion of the dowel pin (128) when the cooking vessel placed on the cooktop (802).
