The millet sediment-based effervescent tablet composition (100) comprises 22 to 25 weight percentage of lyophilized millet sediment powder (102), 25 to 28 weight percentage of an acid component (104), 35 to 38 weight percentage of an alkaline component (106), 4 to 6 weight percentage of a sweetener (108), and 1 to 3 weight percentage of a flavouring agent (110). The millet sediment-based effervescent tablet composition (100) reduces lump formation and sedimentation during preparation of a millet-based beverage.
