Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated teacher-anchored, anti-spoofing enabled and proximity-verified attendance system for educational institutions. The system provides teacher-anchored session control, continuous presence monitoring, biometric liveness and anti-spoofing validation, proximity verification, time-bound OTP authentication and offline-to-online synchronization. An authenticated teacher initiates a class session and a session-specific OTP key is generated. Student devices independently generate time-bound OTPs using the session key. The generated OTP is associated with the student and device identity. The system performs proximity verification and biometric liveness validation for attendance authentication. Student presence is continuously monitored throughout the class session to detect early exits or falsification. When network or proximity detection is temporarily unavailable, the OTP is stored locally and the attendance information is cryptographically protected using hashing and timestamping. Upon reconnection or restoration of teacher proximity, the stored OTP is validated using timestamps and session keys and synchronized with the server. Attendance is updated only when matching validation rules are satisfied, while mismatched entries are flagged for teacher review.
