Abstract: The present invention discloses a microcontroller-free automatic railway level crossing control system using transistor logic and a working method thereof. The system comprises a train detection module with proximity sensors, a signal conditioning and amplification module employing transistor-based circuitry, a relay-based switching module, a gate actuation module, and a power management module. The invention operates entirely on discrete electronic hardware without the use of programmable controllers, thereby ensuring deterministic operation, reduced latency, and enhanced reliability. Upon detection of an approaching train, the sensor signal is amplified by the transistor to activate a relay, which in turn drives a motor to close the gate, and reopens it after train passage. The system provides a cost-effective, low-maintenance, and robust solution particularly suitable for rural and resource-constrained environments, while improving safety and eliminating human error.
