The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a process for preparing a sulfur-infused aminated Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) composite comprising the steps of obtaining a MOF by combining at least one cationic metal salt and at least one organic ligand in a solvent; incorporating an amine into the MOF to obtain an aminated MOF; subjecting the aminated MOF to carbonization at a temperature range of 100 to 950 °C in a tubular furnace under argon gas; cooling down the aminated MOF to obtain microporous aminated MOF composite; and grounding the microporous aminated MOF with colloidal sulfur followed by heating to obtain the sulfur-infused aminated MOF composite; and removing sulfur at a temperature range of 200-300 °C for 14-16 hours in a tubular furnace under argon gas.
