Abstract: “A METHOD TO REDUCE CO2 EMISSION FROM AGGLOMERATION PROCESS” ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to iron ore processing and more particularly, the present to a 5 method that allows partial or complete replacement or substitution of reliance on sources like coke oven gas and LPG gas used for ignition in agglomeration processes like sintering and pelletizing. The process of the present disclosure is particularly characterized by the employment of biofuel having oxygen content ranging from about 7% to about 15%. The employment of the said biofuel in the agglomeration process has been shown to have 10 significant impact on process efficiency, while curbing the generation and release of harmful gases into the atmosphere as part of flue gas.
