Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD TO FABRICATE ADHESIVE PATCH FROM POLYMERIC PROTEIN DOTS FOR TISSUE REINFORCEMENT AND WOUND HEALING The present invention relates to a method of transformation of organic molecules and gelatin protein into a PPD nanopatch. The intended use of the nanopatch is for tissue reinforcement of open wounds, along with wound management therein for proper healing. The material was synthesized using a two-step hydrothermal pyrolysis process. The first step was carried out at 180 °C, followed by a second step at 160 °C, with each stage lasting 8 hours. Purification and subsequent water evaporation for a specific time and conditions resulted in the PPD nanopatch. The nanopatch is thoroughly characterized with a host of analytical techniques to demonstrate its successful fabrication. The findings of these innovations further illuminate nanopatch as a simultaneous photosensitizer and antioxidant with excellent efficacy under ambient conditions. This multifaceted functionality positions PPD and its derivatives as a highly promising solution for wound care. In conclusion, this innovative approach not only addresses the existing challenges in wound management but also paves the way for applying nanotechnology in regenerative medicines as per demand.
