Abstract: A METHOD OF SYNTHESISING OF ZINC OXIDE (ZNO) NANOPARTICLES USING THE AQUEOUS SEED EXTRACT OF BIXAORELLANA WITH GLUCOSE ENCAPSULATION AND PRODUCT THEREOF Zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles were synthesized using the aqueous seed extract of Bixa orellana and glucose as a capping agent. Unlike previous studies that primarily focus on the green synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles, this work uniquely investigates the impact of glucose capping on nanoparticle stability, agglomeration control, and bioactivity. Characterization techniques, including UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, FESEM, DLS/Zeta, and XRD, were employed to analyze the structural and optical properties of the synthesized nanoparticles. Their biological activity was evaluated through antioxidant and a-amylase inhibition assays. The findings suggest that glucose capping significantly enhances stability, reduces agglomeration, and improves bioactivity, highlighting the potential of these nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
