Abstract: ABSTRACT An algorithm 100 for pre-charging a plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors to reduce circuit stress in each of the MOSFET gate capacitors is described. The algorithm 100 comprises biasing 110 the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors by means of a first power source to a first voltage potential. The first voltage potential is below a threshold voltage potential that is required to activate the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors when the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors are non-operational. The algorithm 100 for pre-charging the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors further comprises powering the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors by means of a second power source to a second voltage potential, wherein the second voltage potential is above the threshold voltage potential that is required to activate the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors in order to closely activate the plurality of MOSFET gate capacitors.
