Abstract: A METHOD OF FAULT DETECTION IN AN ELECTRO-MECHANICAL PANEL AND A SYSTEM THEREOF ABSTRACT The present disclosure discloses a method and system for fault detection in an electro-mechanical panel. The method includes determining, by a processor, a first set of values corresponding to one or more parameters associated with vibrations detected by a first sensor from a plurality of sensors. The first sensor is placed at a predefined location on the electro- mechanical panel. The method includes detecting if at least one value from first set of values is above respective predefined threshold. The method includes determining a second set of values corresponding to one or more parameters associated with vibrations detected by at least one second sensor from plurality of sensors, when at least one value is above respective predefined threshold. The one or more second sensors are placed at a pre-defined distance from first sensor. The method includes identifying a fault in electro-mechanical panel when at least one value from second set of values is above respective predefined threshold.
