Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR SYNTHESIS OF MANNICH DERIVATIVE USING INDOLE SUBSTITUTED DERIVATIVES A method (100) for synthesis of Mannich derivative using Indole substituted derivatives. Further, the method comprising: Reacting indole substituted derivatives with formaldehyde and acetophenone derivatives through a condensation reaction. Further, monitoring the progress of the reaction using Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) in a solvent system consisting of ethyl acetate and hexane in a 1:1 ratio. Further, Characterizing the synthesized product by Infrared (IR) spectroscopy, Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy, and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. Further, the synthesized Mannich derivatives exhibit sensing properties in various solvents including ethanol, methanol, acetic acid, dichloromethane, and dimethyl sulfoxide. FIG. 1
