Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR REPAIRING LADLE TRUNNION ASSEMBLY IN STEELMAKING AND FOUNDRY APPLICATION The present invention provides a method for repairing ladle trunnion assembly (100) used in steelmaking and foundry applications. The repair process begins with the identification and extraction of the damaged trunnion area from the ladle shell (01). A custom-fabricated reinforcement plate (9,10, 11) is then welded into place using advanced welding techniques, ensuring precise alignment and structural integrity. The trunnion (4) is reinstalled with a dimensional accuracy, followed by thorough non-destructive testing to ensure weld quality and the trunnion’s (4) performance under operational stresses. {FIGURE 1 & 5}
