The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for quantum-safe verification of ownership of a metaverse asset is disclosed. An ownership verification server receives an asset identifier, an owner decentralized identifier, a platform identifier, and a verifier-generated nonce. A canonical-identifier mapper resolves the asset to a canonical identifier and fingerprint, while a permissioned distributed ledger supplies a current ownership record containing a public-key digest, ownership-state version, and transaction digest. The server constructs a canonical proof payload binding the asset, owner, platform, nonce, timestamp, fingerprint, state version, and transaction digest. A quantum-safe signature generated by an owner device is verified, and the server additionally confirms nonce freshness, timestamp validity, fingerprint equality, current state version, and continuity of the ownership chain. Only when all conditions are satisfied does the server consume the nonce, issue a time-limited quantum-safe signed ownership verification token, and record a verification-result hash. Transfer processing increments the state version so that earlier proofs are rejected. Canonical asset mapping, quantum-safe key rotation, and privacy-preserving proofs support secure verification across metaverse platforms.
