Abstract: A METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF PINUS ROXBURGHII EXTRACT MEDIATED COPPER OXIDE NANOPARTICLES HAVING ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTICANCER PROPERTIES The present invention relates to an eco-friendly green synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticles using methanolic needle extract of Pinus roxburghii as a reducing, capping, and stabilizing agent. Copper oxide nanoparticles are synthesized by reacting copper nitrate solution with the plant extract under controlled temperature and stirring conditions, leading to a characteristic color change and nanoparticle formation. The synthesized nanoparticles are isolated, purified, and confirmed through UV-Visible spectroscopy showing a peak around 280 nm. The developed nanoparticles exhibit significant antibacterial and anticancer properties, making them suitable for biomedical applications.
