Abstract: Present disclosure provides a method for preparing an aerated construction material suitable for semi-load-bearing to non-load-bearing building applications which is efficient, cost effective and reduces single use polymeric waste. The method utilises surface coated waste polyethylene bag cuts along with cement, binder material, fly ash and a foaming agent for the preparation of aerated concrete having improved porosity and mechanical properties.
