Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of saffron cultivation using hydroponic systems, optimizing hormonal treatments, growing substrates, and nutrient solutions. Hormonal treatments with precise indole acetic acid (IAA) and naphthalene acetic acid (NAA) concentrations promote flowering and sprouting, having the composition comprises (coco peat, vermiculite, vermicompost, and perlite) ensures superior root growth and nutrient absorption. Essential macronutrients and micronutrients are delivered via a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic system, enhancing plant health and bioactive compound production. Advanced automation mimics natural environmental conditions like rainfall, further boosting yield and quality. The results of the present invention shows increased flowers per corm, improved stigma characteristics, and higher levels of crocin and safranal, enhancing saffron's commercial value. The present method reduces water use, eliminates soil dependency, and supports year-round, scalable production, offering a sustainable and efficient solution for saffron cultivation.
