Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method (200) for fabricating a wearable pressure-sensing device (100). The method (200) includes preparing (202) a flexible substrate (102). Further, the method (200) includes disposing (204) a pair of MXene sheets (104) on the flexible substrate (102), at a predefined distance from each other, to form in-plane lateral electrode structure. Herein, each MXene sheet of the pair of MXene sheets (104) includes a conductive layer. Further, the method (200) includes placing (204) an ionogel sensing layer (106) over the pair of MXene sheets (104), to fabricate the wearable pressure-sensing device (100). Herein, the ionogel sensing layer (106) forms an interfacial contact between the ionogel sensing layer (106) and the conductive layer of each MXene sheet.
