MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511087003 A) filed by Attero Recycling Pvt. Ltd. on September 12, 2025, for A Method For Dismantling Compressors.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for dismantling compressors. The method comprises steps of a) removing a compressor from a device, b) positioning the compressor on an oil draining setup to allow lubricating oil to be drained by removing a drainage plug, c) marking a plurality of safe zones on the compressor shell and cutting open the shell of stator, rotor or any other reusable material using a set of tools, d) exposing a set of internal components including the stator and rotor by separating them from the compressor housing, e) revealing copper winding from the cutting stator assembly and extracting the copper windings, f) detaching the rotor from housing using a mechanical method and the compressor shell, according to type and quality for recycling.
