The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: A method for determining curing of cementitious composition for concrete pavements is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of placing a cement paste sample in a dew point potentiometer for a time period, determining internal suction of the sample over the period, receiving the internal suction data of the sample, generating drying-path water retention characteristics (D-WRC) of the sample for the period from the determined internal suctions, determining Air Entry Value (AEV) of the sample from the drying-path water retention characteristics (D-WRC), indicating the initiation of the internal drying in the sample, generating wetting-path water retention characteristics (W-WRC) of the sample for the period from the determined internal suctions, comparing D-WRC and W-WRC of the sample for determining a difference between D-WRC and W-WRC, and validating the curing of the sample, when a difference between the D-WRC and W-WRC is above a threshold.
