Abstract: The present invention relates to a blockchain-enabled carbon credit management system for registration, monitoring, verification, issuance, trading, and retirement of carbon credits. The system comprises a project management module, a monitoring data acquisition module, a distributed storage module, a blockchain network, a backend processing module, and a plurality of user interfaces. The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) stores project-related documents, monitoring records, the multi- signature verification mechanism records verifier approvals and authorizes carbon credit issuance upon satisfaction of a predefined threshold. Carbon credits are generated as ERC-1155 tokens associated with project identifiers and vintage years. The system supports offline field data collection, geolocation capture, and synchronization of monitoring records. A marketplace contract enables carbon credit transfer and automated revenue distribution through atomic transactions. The system ensures transparent, secure, immutable, and traceable carbon credit lifecycle management.
