Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR COMPUTING A SPEED OF MOTOR 5 In an embodiment of a present disclosure, a method for computing a speed of motor is disclosed. The method comprises steps of obtaining a first voltage, per phase, at output port of inverter (102), determining a first resistance of a wire (108) per phase, based on an injunction of a predetermined current into the wire, generating a voltage drop across the wire per phase (108), based on multiplication of a second resistance 10 of the wire (108), generating a voltage drop across the wire per phase based on multiplication of a second resistance of the wire (108) and the predetermined current, calculating a second voltage per phase, based on the subtraction of the voltage drop across the wire (108) from the first voltage; and computing, the speed of the motor (104) using a speed estimator (204) and the second voltage per phase.
