Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD FOR ANALYSING PESTICIDE RESIDUE IN DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF RICE SAMPLES A method (100) for analysing pesticide residue in different varieties of rice samples. Further, the method comprising collecting rice samples from various sources. Further, extracting pesticide residues from the rice samples using a suitable extraction solvent. Further, analyzing the extract using advanced chromatographic techniques selected from High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS), or Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS). Further, identifying and quantifying pesticide residues present in the rice samples using the chromatographic analysis. Further, comparing the pesticide residue levels across different varieties of rice. Further, the extraction of pesticide residues is carried out using an organic solvent selected from acetone, methanol, or acetonitrile, followed by a clean-up step. FIG. 1
