Inventors include Mrs Nusrat Ansari; Dr. Maniroja M; Mrs Priyanka Kevin Nagda; Mr. Aditya Agrahari; Mr. Vedant Gawali; Mr. Bhumik Gianani; and Mr. Sukhbir Singh Goklani.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention consists of a system and method for providing AI-powered, adaptive spoken communication skills training to students and young professionals through an interactive mobile application. The system enables users to practise realistic professional communication scenarios—including job interviews, group discussions, client presentations, and professional conversations—through a sequential AI pipeline comprising speech-to-text transcription (Groq Whisper V3), scenario-conditioned large language model response generation (LLaMA), and text-to-speech synthesis (Microsoft Edge-TTS with Indian English voices). A multi-dimensional evaluation engine scores each user utterance across five independent linguistic dimensions: clarity, fluency, vocabulary range, grammatical correctness, and confidence, and additionally detects and quantifies filler-word usage. A self-learning evaluation model, continuously retrained on anonymised user session interaction data, adapts evaluation thresholds, scenario difficulty, and feedback prioritisation in proportion to each user's individual longitudinal performance trajectory, distinguishing the present invention from all prior static evaluation systems. User engagement and retention are sustained through a gamification layer comprising experience points, streaks, achievement badges, leaderboards, and periodic speaking contests. Content is structured into progressive competency levels, with access to advanced content gated by demonstrated mastery at preceding levels. The system is delivered as a cross-platform mobile application with a cloud-hosted backend, designed for scalable deployment under a freemium model. The invention advances the state of the art in EdTech by converting passive language learners into confident, practised communicators through scalable, personalised, AI-driven experiential practice.
