Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATED NUTRITION CARE ASSESSMENT IN MENTAL HEALTH CARE FACILITIES The present invention discloses a method and system (100) for integrated nutrition care assessment in institutional mental health care facilities. The system (100) comprises a participant data collection module (110), a nutritional status assessment module (120), a dietary diversity assessment module (130) employing FAO methodology, a medication and supplement profiling module (140), a WHO guideline adherence assessment module (150), and a food safety and hygiene assessment module (160) using regulatory standards-based hygiene grading. A data integration and analysis engine (170) aggregates all module outputs and performs cross-domain analysis to identify correlations across nutritional, dietary, pharmacological, and food safety dimensions. A recommendation generation module (180) produces evidence-based actionable recommendations. The invention addresses the absence of systematic nutrition-focused approaches in mental health care by providing a comprehensive, standardized assessment framework adaptable across institutional settings.
