Abstract: The present invention relates to method and system for generation of assessment results from input data, and more particularly, to generation of assessment results using confidence-based evaluation and analysis of previously analyzed cases. The invention receives input data associated with a subject and generates an initial assessment result along with a confidence score. One or more reference cases corresponding to the input data are retrieved from a memory storing data associated with previously analyzed cases, and a corroboration score indicative of support for the initial assessment result is determined. The initial assessment result is evaluated based on a combination of the confidence score and the corroboration score, and an output is generated based on the evaluation. When the evaluation indicates sufficient reliability and support for the initial assessment result, a validated assessment result may be generated. Alternatively, when the evaluation indicates uncertainty associated with the initial assessment result and/or insufficient support from the reference cases, an indication for review may be generated. The invention thereby facilitates generation of reliable assessment results using both current input information and historical case information. Figure 3 is the representative figure.
