Abstract: ABSTRACT “A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING CABIN MONITORING IN A VEHICLE” Disclosed herein is a method and system for facilitating cabin monitoring in a 5 vehicle (200). The method comprises receiving, from an event-based camera (103), a first feed having spike-train data of one or more events (219) and detecting the one or more events (219) as a critical event or a non-critical event by analyzing the spike-train data. Upon detecting the one or more events (219) as the critical event, the method generates a wake signal for activating a frame-based camera (105) of a 10 High-Performance Chip (HPC) (107) for receiving a second feed and transforms one or more spike-train features corresponding to the spike-train data. The second feed comprises one or more image features (119). Finally, the method comprises performing fusion of the one or more transformed spike-train features with the one or more image features (119) from the second feed for verifying the detection of 15 the critical event.
