Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for crowd analysis. The method comprising, receiving at least ‘n’ number of crowd images. The value of ‘n’ is predefined, and each crowd image of the at least ‘n’ number of crowd images is a captured video frame obtained from an imaging device. The method further comprising, determining an initial crowd count for each crowd image of the at least ‘n’ number of crowd images using a default crowd density model from a plurality of crowd density models and categorizing the at least ‘n’ number of crowd images into a new crowd density model identified from the plurality of crowd density models based on the initial crowd count determined. The method further comprising shifting to an identified crowd density model to obtain a final crowd count and crowd analysis.
