Abstract: A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED AERIAL HARVESTING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS USING DRONES The present disclosure relates to a system and method for automated aerial harvesting of a plurality of agricultural products. The system includes an aerial drone (104) comprising a processor (246). The system further includes an onboard vision system (122) communicatively coupled to the processor (246) and configured to detect a target region of interest (106) on a physical structure (102), the target region of interest (106) comprising an agricultural product. The system further includes a wireless communication module (234) communicatively coupled to the processor (246) and configured to receive a harvesting command corresponding to the target region of interest (106). The system further includes a robotic cutting assembly (226) communicatively coupled to the processor (246). The processor (246) is configured to control the robotic cutting assembly (226) to execute a cutting action based on the harvesting command, thereby physically detaching the agricultural product from the physical structure (102).
