Abstract: The present invention relates to an automated patient triage and healthcare workflow optimization system that aims at enhancing the level of decision-making and helps in reducing the response time in medical environment. The system comprises a data acquisition module to gather gathers individual patient information such as symptoms, vital signs, age, gender, and other data required; a decision and processing module to process the collected data through a weighted scoring algorithm with rule-based alert mechanisms; and interface & communication module for the interaction between the system and the users which includes staff of the hospital and the patients. Based on this analysis, patients are given dynamic priority levels to help healthcare professionals to identify the critical cases efficiently. It also incorporates real-time dashboard that shows patient status, average waiting time, prescription page, email support to the patients to minimize paperwork, and resource allocation metrics to facilitate planning in operations. The invention leads to accuracy in the triage evaluation, reduces human error, and leads to prompt medical response. It can be expanded and implemented in hospitals, emergency units, and remote healthcare systems. The solution is proposed to streamline patient flow, enhance healthcare provision, and facilitate the use of data to make clinical decisions.
