Abstract: ABSTRACT A Method and System for AI-Driven Bio-Reactive Composting with Predictive Nutrient and Microbial Control This invention relates to a closed loop, AI-based adaptive bioreactive composting system that performs predictive nutrient engineering and microbial state management. This includes multiple sensors used for continuous monitoring of composting conditions like temperature, humidity, gaseous composition, and nutrient content. Data collected from these sensors is then analyzed through artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) techniques for classification of microbial states, prediction of decomposition process, and estimation of nutrient evolution. Simulation models based on the digital twin concept are applied for predictive optimization and what- if analysis in order to improve the quality of the compost produced. Depending on the results obtained, the system will adjust composting parameters like aeration, mixing, temperature, gas emissions, and leachate recycling. The proposed system also supports adaptation, anomaly detection, and intelligent recommendations for optimal waste input management. It uses a two-chamber design for continuous compost production.
