The method comprises generating 304 an indication to the rider of the vehicle about the incoming call, generating 306 an indication to the rider to switch on blinkers and generating 308 an indication to the rider to reduce the speed of the vehicle to below a pre-defined threshold. The method comprises sending 310 a command to the first communication device to connect the incoming call, when the speed of the vehicle is reduced to below the pre-defined threshold within a pre-defined time duration and the blinkers are switched on within the pre-defined time duration.
