Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for fabricating an immunomodulatory and antimicrobial cryo-gel scaffold composed of Levan Methacrylate (LevMA) and Gelatin Methacrylate (GelMA) for advanced wound healing applications. The fabrication involves redox-initiated cryo-polymerization at –20°C, resulting in a highly porous, biocompatible structure with enhanced mechanical strength. The scaffold supports cell proliferation, immune modulation, and infection control, addressing limitations of conventional dressings such as poor structural integrity and lack of biological functionality. The optimized LevMA:GelMA composition ensures effective nutrient diffusion, tissue integration, and sterilization compatibility.
