Abstract: ABSTRACT A METHOD, A SYSTEM AND AN AUTONOMOUS PLATFORM FOR REAL-TIME PREDICTIVE TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL This invention explains to a system and methodology for predictive traffic management and control in an urban context. The system includes one or more sensors that collect multi-modal traffic data consisting of video feeds, parameters for vehicle motion, and environmental data, as well as a processing unit that consists of a processor and memory. Artificial intelligence is employed using a system comprising of spatial and temporal analyzers to process collected data and analyze it for traffic patterns and predictions for congestions, violations, and accidents. Data fusion is done through a dedicated module, while a risk assessment tool uses collected data to calculate risk scores for traffic density, behavioral patterns, environmental data, and history. Decision making takes place using a dedicated decision-making engine, whose outputs are then used to control signals and routes and alert users about geo-location-based information. Fig. 3
