MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641075282 A) filed by Vijayalakhmi Polymers International on June 18, 2026, for A Mechatronic-Based Precious-Asset Financing Terminal And Its Process Thereof.
Inventors include Vishnu Skhand Raaj N; and Natarajan Kandasamy.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to an automated mechatronic precious asset financing terminal configured for secure, non-destructive evaluation, valuation, and storage of precious metal assets and for facilitating instant financial transactions. The terminal comprises a biometric authentication module for user verification, an automated ingestion assembly for receiving and positioning assets, and a pre-screening sensor array for detecting ferrous or counterfeit materials. The asset is subjected to multi- point X-ray fluorescence analysis and precision mass measurement within an internal chamber. An edge computing server executes artificial intelligence algorithms to determine material composition and generate real-time financial valuation based on live commodity pricing data. Upon user acceptance, a robotic transfer subsystem moves the asset to a sealing and printing unit, which encloses the asset in a tamper-evident package bearing transaction metadata and machine-readable codes. The packaged asset is stored in a secure, indexed vault system. A geolocation and anti-tamper security framework monitors structural integrity and location, triggering alerts and operational lock-down upon unauthorized events.
