Abstract: ABSTRACT A MATERIAL PROCESSING APPARATUS FOR THERMAL PROCESSING OF MATERIAL The present disclosure relates to a material processing apparatus (100) for thermal processing of material. The apparatus (100) comprises a processing chamber (102) enclosed by an outer chamber (104) to define an intermediate zone (110). An inlet port (106) introduces material into the processing chamber (102). A fluid source supplies fluid into the intermediate zone (110) through a plurality of first slots (114), and the fluid enters the processing chamber (102) through a plurality of second slots (116) to enable controlled flow and mixing. A movable base (118) is provided at a bottom portion of the processing chamber (102) and supports a field plate (120). The movable base (118) is movable between a closed position and an open position for removal of residual material. A thermal source associated with the field plate (120) facilitates thermal processing, and a processed fluid transfer device (122) discharges processed fluid. [
