Abstract: The present invention is related to a manual drilling fixture for mechanical production engineering enables accurate and repeatable hole positioning in flat workpieces, such as mild steel plates, without reliance on CNC systems. The fixture comprises supporting legs (101), horizontal frame members (103), and base frame corners (104) forming a base frame. Orthogonal X-axis (106) and Y-axis (107) measurement rails with integrated scales are secured by a dual locking system (105) to maintain set coordinates. A drill guide opening (110) at the intersection of the rails defines the drilling location, optionally fitted with a hardened bush. An under-mounted plate support system with an adjustable supporting rod (109) allows insertion and removal of workpieces (108) from below without disturbing coordinate settings. Adjustable corner supports and a sliding rail provide additional stability. This apparatus reduces setup time, minimises operator dependency, and improves productivity in small and medium-scale workshops requiring batch drilling operations.
