MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621083505 A) filed by Ansicht Voneden India on July 07, 2026, for A Low-Energy Isoelectric Process For Producing Oxalate-Depleted Non- Estrogenic Botanical-Infused Soy Matrices.

Inventor includes Dr. Ajinkya Inamdar.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A LOW-ENERGY ISOELECTRIC PROCESS FOR PRODUCING OXALATE-DEPLETED NON-ESTROGENIC BOTANICAL-INFUSED SOY MATRICES Disclosed is a low-energy process for preparing an oxalate-reduced, reduced- phytoestrogen soy protein matrix (90). An aqueous soy milk base (10) is infused during an infusion step (20) with ginger, turmeric, and carom seeds extracts at 70°C–75°C, then cooled during a cooling step (30) to 50°C–55°C. Food-grade citric acid is added during a macro-curd formation step (40) to attain the isoelectric point at pH 4.5, causing soy proteins to aggregate into dense macro-curds. The enlarged curds sediment rapidly, enabling solid–liquid separation by a low-speed centrifugation step (50) at a relative centrifugal force not exceeding 1,500 × g, avoiding high-speed decantation. The oxalate- and isoflavone-rich supernatant (60) is discarded, and the protein cake is re-neutralised during an alkaline re-neutralisation step (80) to pH 7.0–7.2, yielding a cleaned soy matrix (90) convertible into a dispersible powder (100), an extruded fibrous meat analogue (110), or a fermented soy product (120).
