Abstract: A LiDAR-Synchronized Robotic System for Autonomous Wi-Fi Signal Strength Mapping ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a LiDAR-synchronized robotic system (100) for autonomous Wi-Fi signal strength mapping. The system (100) comprises a robotic platform, a processing controller, a LiDAR module, a locomotion system, a Wi-Fi sniffer module, and a data synchronization and logging unit. The LiDAR module continuously scans an indoor environment to generate positional and obstacle-related information for autonomous navigation through predefined grid locations. The processing controller verifies positional alignment of the robotic platform relative to target grid coordinates and triggers the Wi-Fi sniffer module only upon confirmation that the robotic platform lies within a predefined positional tolerance range. The Wi-Fi sniffer module acquires received signal strength values and wireless access point identifiers, while the data synchronization and logging unit associates the acquired wireless information with corresponding positional coordinates to generate a structured RSS mapping dataset.
