Abstract: 046] A caregiver-loadable medication dispensing device (100) includes a housing (102) with plural cassette bays (108a, 108b) and removable blister-retaining cassettes (110a, 110b) having mutually different mechanical key profiles (112a, 112b) that mate with designated bay interfaces. An indexed carrier (130) establishes discrete scheduled-dose positions, and an aperture mask (142) exposes a selected blister cavity (126) through a restricted access window (144) while shielding adjacent cavities. An access gate (146) and mechanical interlock (148) restrict gate opening to a seated indexed position and may inhibit indexing while the gate is open. A caregiver loading cover (106), day-wise indicator (136) and optional mechanical access-event flag (152) facilitate preparation and use while preserving medicines in their original blister packaging. Five-day and extended 30/31-day configurations are contemplated. Accompanied Drawing [FIGS. 1-2].
