MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611100524 A) filed by Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed To Be University on August 20, 2026, for A Hybrid Quantum Enhanced -Computing Through Robotics In Healthcare.
Inventors include Ritu Aggarwal; and Eshaan Aggarwal.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a quantum-enhanced computational system for prediction of heart disease using a hybrid recurrent learning architecture. The system receives patient health attributes and processes the attributes through a quantum machine-learning processing module. The processed information is supplied to a Quantum Long Short-Term Memory (QTLSTM) module and a Quantum Gated Recurrent Unit (QTGRU) module for capturing dependencies and patterns associated with heart-disease conditions. Outputs of the QTLSTM and QTGRU modules are combined through a hybrid prediction module to classify a patient into a disease- present or disease-absent state. The system further evaluates prediction performance using accuracy, precision, recall and F1-score. The disclosed hybrid QTLSTM- GRU architecture provides improved prediction performance compared with individual quantum-learning and conventional classification models, thereby providing a quantum-enhanced computational framework for early heart-disease prediction.
