Abstract: ABSTRACT “A HYBRID POWER CONVERTER FOR SIMULTANEOUS HIGH-GAIN DC AND 5 AC OUTPUT GENERATION” The present invention relates to a hybrid power converter (100) configured to simultaneously generate a boosted direct current (DC) output and a sinusoidal alternating current (AC) output from a single DC input source (Vdc). The converter comprises an input inductor (L1), a diodecapacitor network including diodes (D1, D2) and capacitors (C1, C2), a full-bridge inverter 10 (200) having four semiconductor switches (S1–S4), and an AC filter network (300). The inverter replaces a conventional switch in a modified Positive Output Elementary Superlift Luo (POESL) topology, enabling single-stage operation. The converter operates in shoot-through, power, and zero modes within each switching cycle. Pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals based on a DC control signal and a sinusoidal modulation signal regulate DC voltage gain and 15 AC output waveform. The AC filter network ensures reduced harmonic distortion. The converter achieves enhanced voltage gain, reduced component count, and simultaneous delivery of regulated DC and AC outputs.
