MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611093573 A) filed by Mr. Neeraj Kumar; Mr. Rajbahadur; and Mr. Mahavir Singh Rawat on August 02, 2026, for A Hybrid Intelligent System And Method For Processing Construction And Demolition Waste Into High-Strength Recycled Aggregates.
Inventors include Mr. Neeraj Kumar; Mr. Rajbahadur; and Mr. Mahavir Singh Rawat.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hybrid intelligent system and method for processing construction and demolition waste into high-strength recycled aggregates for use in civil engineering applications. The invention comprises an integrated processing system including an artificial intelligence-based material identification module, automated sorting unit, multi-stage crushing mechanism, contaminant removal assembly, chemical surface treatment chamber, controlled thermal activation unit, moisture regulation module, intelligent particle grading system, and quality prediction module. Construction and demolition waste is sequentially classified, processed, cleaned, treated, graded, and continuously monitored using intelligent sensors and machine learning algorithms to produce recycled aggregates having enhanced density, reduced water absorption, improved compressive strength, superior durability, and consistent particle characteristics. The system optimizes processing parameters in real time to maximize material recovery, reduce energy consumption, minimize landfill disposal, and conserve natural natural resources. The invention provides an environmentally sustainable, economically viable, and automated solution for producing high-quality recycled aggregates suitable for structural concrete, road construction, precast products, pavement materials, and other civil engineering applications.
