Abstract: A hybrid electric motor pump system (100) includes a three-phase electric motor (102) for being operated at a predefined rated power upon receiving electricity having a predefined voltage from a first power source (104) or a second power source (106) or a combination of the at least one of the first power source (104) and the at least one second power source (106). The predefined voltage at maximum power of first power source (104) is 1.5 times the line RMS voltage of the second power source (106). A controller (108) configured to detect the power rating using a learning module (108A). The controller (108) is further configured to draw electricity from second first power source (104) to offset any shortfall in the electricity provided by the first power source (104) for maintaining adequate electricity supplied to the three phase electric motor (102) for operating at the predefined rated power.
