Inventors include Mr. Ch. V Raviteja; Palwaye Sreemaye; Etikala Nikitha; and Sarjana Uday Kiran.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A hovercraft-based water quality monitoring system (100) is provided for monitoring water and environmental conditions at multiple locations of aquaponic and flooded agricultural areas. The system (100) comprises a lightweight buoyant chassis (101), ESP32 microcontroller (102), water temperature sensing unit (103), turbidity sensing unit (104), air environmental sensing unit (105), motor driving unit (106), propulsion unit (107), power supply arrangement (108) and web- based monitoring and navigation interface (109). The water temperature sensing unit (103) measures water temperature through 1-wire communication, while the turbidity sensing unit (104) provides turbidity measurements based on reflected light from water particles. The air environmental sensing unit (105) provides air temperature and humidity measurements. The ESP32 microcontroller (102) communicates sensor data through Wi-Fi and controls the propulsion unit (107) through the motor driving unit (106). The interface (109) visualizes sensor data and provides remote navigation commands, thereby enabling mobile water monitoring at different locations. The figure associated with abstract is Fig. 1.
